After 8 years in the Sony Music system, Chris Herche was asked to join EOne Entertainment (formerly Koch Records) to lead the label into previously un-chartered territory; the digital landscape. Voted Rookie of the Year and subsequently nominated for Employee of the Year, Chris has single handedly changed the way EOne markets their music. In 4 short years he has built a digital platform for EOne to stand on, strategically developing presence online and on mobile. Recognizing social as the fuel that feeds fandom, Chris defines and manages Facebook, Twitter, Pintrest, Instagram, Tumblr and Spotify profiles for all label talent. Understanding that it’s not just about record sales anymore, Chris launched EOne’s YouTube and VEVO channels with a defined monetization strategy that has been integral to delivering ancillary revenue to the label. His infection passion for the business and easy going personality drive extensive relationships with major online portals, lifestyle blogs, tastemakers and brands providing exceptional exposure for EOne artists. His efforts have contributed to a stellar sales record including seven platinum-selling digital singles. Chris fills what little free time he has giving back to the music community as a member of the TJ Martell Foundation Young Professionals Leadership Council, and is a regular panelist at industry events such as CMJ, Canadian Music Week and Control Panel.
