Eric Newman

Eric “E-New” Newman is an A&R that is blazing new trails on the Hip-Hop Music scene. Having worked as the A&R/ Publishing Manager of the HiTz Committee Entertainment label at Jive Records since the Spring of 09′, he immediately made an impact his first month there. He signed over a local Baton Rogue artist named Derty, to a single deal that turned out to be a Summer Club Banger “Oh Uh” in Louisiana that year. The song also made an impact on the East Coast urban markets when it premiered as the New Joint of the Day on BET’s 106 & Park as well. E-New then broke another national hit, signing the Party Boyz “Flex” single from Dallas Texas. Their single has climbed to #38 on the Billboard HOT R&B/ Hip-Hop songs chart and #26 on the Mainstream R&B/ Hip-Hop chart.

Eric’s three years of experience working alongside his long-time friend and boss, Mickey “MeMpHiTz” Wright, lead to him making the move to a new EMI venture, called Krush 21. Since then E-New has delivered hit after hit, including the PBZ & Gucci Mane smash, “Madonna.”
